Manchester1_Bon voyage.JPGPocas both cities have struck me recently as Manchester. This takes years metropolises English stomping and breaking molds. Aware that may sound a cliché, I made my bags and I visited Manchester as a ‘city break’. And I was surprised, damned if I was surprised.
Then you tell the travel plan, which will certainly recommend you.
A tremendous feeling of freedom just came over me set foot in Britain. Manchester is a big city, but it seems, is comfortable and can get almost anywhere on foot (or you can move in urban transport is free in most parts of the city to alleviate traffic in the center) and discover their thousand and one secret corners.
Manchester, like most industrial cities in Europe, takes years to invest in itself to show the best of the faces of those who were most degraded neighborhoods mid-twentieth century. And that was the mecca of the Industrial Revolution, is now a laboratory of artistic trends of architecture and art, a pioneer city in different cultural, especially musical, which currently has little to envy your neighbor London.
Manchester2_Bon Manchester voyage.JPGEl cultural development goes hand in its development, architectural facet of the city that most caught my attention. On the former, you surprised to learn that almost all of its museums (and be careful because they are nearly 90), are free. The second, I was amazed to see how have been able to transform those old red brick factories into modern homes, most lofts quite affordable, and with an inevitable resemblance to New York’s Soho, with the mixture of brick, steel and glass.

Panacea Panacea_Bon voyage.jpgRestaurante: this place is Manchester’s fashionable city famous for being one of the hottest spots of the moment. A comprehensive range of cuisine and the best live music (jazz, soul and very catchy rhythms) will accompany you in the best of your evenings. Do not forget to try one of their delicious cocktails before sitting down to dinner. The best thing? super chic atmosphere and its workforce, charming!
Harvey Nichols Brasserie: in the most luxurious shopping mall in the city, Harvey Nichols, is this charming brasserie where you can stop to eat before and after your purchases. It is located on the second floor of the center, allowing you to enjoy a panoramic view of downtown. I recommend you study with calm its award-winning wine list offering over 400 wines from around the world (plus, you can also order them by the glass).
Manchester 235: different for your bet most original nights. Manchester 235 is a three in one. Restaurant, bar and casino. The restaurant, located at the top of the premises, is the place to taste the dishes more ‘british’ of the city. Then you can choose to have a drink at the bar and have a good time at your casino.
Do the best drinks?
The Hilton Cloud23.jpgDesde amend the skyline of the city and its famous club, Cloud 23, the routine of its inhabitants in terms of drinks, there seems no other place to go after dinner. Located on the 23rd floor of the modern Hilton, Cloud 23 is, as I have mentioned, the local fashion in Manchester. With stunning views over the city, modern decor and the best cocktails, Cloud 23 has become one of the ‘essentials’ at night in Manchester.
